Deck Construction and Replacement in Denver

A deck is a structure first and an outdoor room second. We build on proper footings and framing, then finish it with the materials, railings and details you will use every day.

Service scope

What's included

Every project and service request starts with a written scope, so you know what is included before work begins.

  • New decks
  • Deck replacement and resurfacing
  • Composite and wood decking
  • Railings, stairs and lighting
  • Footings, framing and ledger connections
  • Permits and inspections

Evaluate structure before finishes

On a replacement, we check footings, posts, beams and especially the connection to the house. New boards on a weak frame are not a real fix.

Plan the details you use every day

Stair locations, railing style, lighting, shade and how the deck connects to the patio or yard matter as much as the decking material.

Choose materials for Colorado sun

Strong UV at altitude fades and dries out wood quickly. Composite and well-maintained hardwoods hold up better. We explain costs and upkeep for each.

Local knowledge

Building decks in Colorado

Most attached or raised decks need permits and inspections in Denver-area jurisdictions. Footings must go below the frost line and account for clay soils, and decks must be designed for snow loads. HOA approval may also be needed.
