Pavers and Hardscape Construction in Denver

Pavers and hardscapes last when the base is right. We plan grades, loads and drainage before choosing materials, then build patios, walkways and walls to handle Colorado conditions.

Service scope

What's included

Every project and service request starts with a written scope, so you know what is included before work begins.

  • Paver patios and walkways
  • Paver driveways
  • Retaining walls and steps
  • Fire pit and seating areas
  • Grading and drainage
  • Repair and releveling of existing pavers

Start with grades and loads

A patio, a walkway and a driveway carry very different loads. We size the base and choose pavers for what will travel on them, and set slopes so water runs away from the house.

Coordinate the finished outdoor space

Hardscape often connects to turf, decks, pergolas and lighting. Planning them together means conduit and drainage are in place before the pavers go down.

Retaining walls done properly

Walls need proper footing, drainage and, above certain heights, engineering and permits. We plan them to stay straight for decades.

Local knowledge

Hardscapes for Front Range soils

Expansive clay and freeze-thaw cycles are the main reasons pavers sink and heave in Colorado. A well-compacted base, edge restraint and good drainage are how we prevent that. Call 811 locates come first, and HOA approval may be needed in some neighborhoods.
